The culinary program's FCCLA class recently held a food drive for victims of Hurricane Michael in partnership with The Perfect Promotion, Woodland Movers, Big Y World Class Markets, and iHeart Radio. This benefit packed an 18-wheeler for The Salvation Army and Dothan Animal Services, as it benefitted both the people and the pets affected by the hurricane.

Hospitality Cooling Stations
On Tuesday, August 28, 2018 the temperature was a whopping 93 degrees with a stifling 50% humidity. Lyman Hall Culinary was asked to help aid in keeping everyone in the building cool. They came through, and set up refreshment stations throughout the school to keep the staff and students hydrated. Students and teachers alike could come over and drink refreshing lemonade or eat a fresh fruit salad.

On June 7th, 2018 from 10:30 to 12:30 P.M., the Cooks Table organized its final luncheon of the year, Pranzo Fresco. It was an alfresco style lunch to celebrate the teachers and staff at Lyman Hall. The students were able to use the brand new pizza ovens which are what made the lunch so successful. We thank everyone for the continued support and we loved serving everyone. In addition to the successful luncheon, profits were donated to the Master Manna Food Pantry.
